Meet Dr. Megumi Lambeth
Dr. Megumi Lambeth was born in Tokyo, Japan. She comes from a long line of dentists. Her mother and father (both dentists) met through their mothers, who were part of the first graduating class of female dentists in Japan! When she was only 6 months old, her family moved to Chapel Hill, NC, where she was raised. She completed both her undergraduate and dental school degrees from UNC.
In dental school, Dr. Lambeth loved volunteering and helping those in need. She spent a summer in Mexico, where she provided much needed treatment at an orphanage. She also participated in and managed MOM clinics in the area, as well as regularly volunteering at the free clinic in Carrboro, providing care to the underserved.
Dr. Lambeth met her husband, Ben, in dental school. They decided to move to Portland, OR following graduation, where Dr. Lambeth worked in private practice for several years. Though they enjoyed their adventures in the beautiful Pacific NW, the triangle area and desire to be near family brought them back nearly five years ago.
They love raising their two daughters in Durham- with its slower pace of life, but still plenty of good food and culture at their fingertips. During her free time, she loves cooking, eating and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Lambeth loves the opportunity to connect with patients and provide comprehensive treatment with a caring approach. She can’t wait to meet you!
